about
After receiving my BA in Applied Design from San Diego State University in 2013, I relocated to Houston, TX for an artist residency at Houston Center for Contemporary Craft. I have continued my studio practice where I make limited-production jewelry as well as one-of-a-kind sculptural pieces. I also enjoy teaching beginning and intermediate jewelry making workshops at a local jewelry supply store. My work has been published in SNAG Jewelry and Metals Survey (JaMS), Showcase 500 Art Necklaces, and The 2016 Contemporary Jewelry Exchange. Recent exhibitions include Surf Report at Galerie Marzee, Architectonic at The Foundry Arts Center and Not-So-Lone-Star Studios: A Gathering of Texas Makers. I was awarded “Best in Show” during Ware/Wear at Pocosin Art Center and “Best Use of Materials” during Spirit and Matter at the Jung Center.
